If you want to create your own TikTok filter under your name, you are at the right place! Since 2023, every user can publish their own filter on TikTok.

The filter will be available on your profile and every time, a user on TikTok posts a video using your effect, your name will be shown!

1. Download & Install the Effect House App

Go to: https://effecthouse.tiktok.com/download

Download the Effect House App for Windows or Mac

2. Open the Effect House App

After downloading and installing, open the Effect House App.
When you open it the first time, you have to log in with your TikTok account.

3. Create a new project

Create a new project when you want to create a TikTok filter.

4. Create your Effect

Now the exciting part begins! You can start to create your own effect.

For your first filter, you can start with one of my basic YouTube tutorials.
Just follow them along and you will have a complete filter at the end.

5. Test your Effect

You can test the effect on your phone in the TikTok app by generating and scanning a QR code

You can generate a QR code in the right upper corner at “Preview in TikTok”.

Preview in TikTok

Then just scan the QR-Code in TikTok and test your filter.

6. Upload your Effect

When you are happy with your filter, click on the “Submit” icon in the right upper corner to publish your Filter to TikTok.

Upload panel

During the uploading process, you can give your effect an Icon, Name and you can select categories and Tags.

7. Wait

Now you have to wait for a little until TikTok has reviewed your filter.

8. Have fun with your filter

If everything goes well, you should be able to use your filter now!

Have fun! 🥳
